In Motion Physical Therapy at the 2024 Chi Town Half Marathon and 10k race dayHello again, fitness enthusiasts and beloved members of the Chicago community! A couple of weeks ago, we invited you to join us at the Chi Town Half Marathon & 10K, where In Motion Physical Therapy was proud to host a booth offering Free 30-Min Discovery Sessions. Today, we’re thrilled to share how that day unfolded and the wonderful experiences we encountered.

A Day of Health, Fitness, and Community Spirit

April 6th dawned bright and cool, a perfect setting for what was to become a day filled with energy, enthusiasm, and engagement at Montrose Harbor. As runners geared up for the challenge, In Motion Physical Therapy was setting the stage to meet and assist participants—runners and supporters alike—with their physical therapy needs.

More Than Just a Race

From the starting gun to the last cheer, the event was electrifying, with the community coming together to celebrate fitness and perseverance. Our booth was bustling with activity as Dr. Lauren Schnidman and our team engaged with a variety of visitors, each with their own story and fitness journey.

The sessions were a hit, and we’re proud to say that spots filled up quickly! It was a unique opportunity to directly impact the health and wellness of our community, offering insights and strategies tailored to each individual’s needs.

We Made Impactful Encounters and Lasting Connections

The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing gratitude for the practical advice and the compassionate ear Dr. Schnidman provided. These interactions not only helped attendees address immediate pains, but also sparked ongoing conversations about long-term health and fitness goals.

We also had the pleasure of meeting aspiring runners and seasoned marathoners, each sharing their aspirations and achievements. These stories are what drive us at In Motion Physical Therapy—to continue providing support that empowers and educates our community.
